To commemorate the 5th anniversary of our brand, we are pleased to announce a special exhibition and sales event in Minami-Semba, Osaka.
Sumizome Aloha “ROOTS” Order Event
This is a special collaboration with “aim-rose,” a bespoke suit brand managed by artisans who honed their crafts at garment factories for world-renowned brands.
We deliver a piece where professional techniques, specializing in designs that beautifully enhance the silhouette, intersect with the aesthetic sense of Sumizome (ink dyeing).
As a special project for our 5th anniversary, we are accepting custom orders for the Sumizome Aloha “ROOTS” at this exhibition.
Handcrafted by Artisans
You can choose your preferred fabric and dye color from five different variations. Each piece is meticulously hand-dyed with ink after an order is received. No two expressions drawn by the ink are ever the same.
Beautiful Tailoring
Using the dyed fabric, aim-rose will take precise measurements and make fine adjustments to the patterns, tailoring it beautifully with their reliable techniques.
In addition to ordering a full set-up, individual items can also be ordered separately. We invite you to first try it on at the venue and experience how beautifully it fits.
Sumizome Works Coexisting with Daily Life
On the days of the event, in addition to aloha shirts, we will showcase Sumizome stoles—which rarely have the opportunity to be introduced in a physical setting—as well as collaboration pieces with three partner brands.
