YOKOHAMA Arts Show Collection Vol.1 – Toward a Future Beyond Dreams
The 11 models selected for the sumizome team gave an outstanding performance with their costumes.
I heard that many of them were meeting each other for the first time on the day of the event, but I was deeply impressed by their strong unity and rich expressiveness.
To tell the truth, I was not so worried about the fact that everyone was meeting for the first time. I was sure that the encounter with people who were attracted to sumizome was inevitable and that the performance would be wonderful.
In the dressing room, we laughed and laughed as if we were old acquaintances, and the warm interaction among the sumizome models was heartwarming.
The team’s meticulous practice in preparation for the show and their earnest efforts to bring out the best in the costumes. Seeing their passionate desire to “create the best stage possible” up close, I felt a sense of security in entrusting the sumizome costumes I had painstakingly created to these people. I am convinced that my words of “I’m counting on you” have been received well by everyone.
And you have created a highly finished stage that far exceeded my expectations.
For the first time, I was able to see the performance from the audience seats and appreciate it from the same perspective as the audience. Words cannot fully express how moved I was.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful stage.
Team Sumizome Miyuki will continue to aim even higher to spread this excitement to the world.
