Silence and passion intersect at Koseiji “NOBU Collection” backstage report
Koseiji Temple, Uji, Kyoto. The nail show “NOBU Collection” opened at the Zen temple surrounded by tranquil atmosphere. The theme was “KOTOZUME. Backstage, there was a unique atmosphere with a mixture of enthusiasm and tension among the many people involved.
Nobuko Nagata’s well-honed sense of beauty echoed through the clear space. Her nail art, which sublimates traditional Japanese beauty, quietly but surely shakes the hearts of those who see it. It was a moving moment that brought the thoughts of all involved to fruition.
This runway show was made possible by the relationship with Nobuko Nagata, the organizer of the event, which was born during the Japanexpo in Paris.
Wearing Miyuki’s sumizome Japanese dress was KANA, a guest model invited from Tokyo. She has a wealth of experience overseas, and her sincere pursuit of how to make nails and costumes more appealing added depth to the show. We were impressed by her inner passion, which we could not imagine from her soft demeanor.
The “NOBU Collection” unfolded in the special space of a Zen temple. It was a time to experience the one and only world of beauty where silence and passion, tradition and innovation are woven together.
